Life is too short to spend on dilly-dallying, and the ones who use their time constructively are the ones who choose to thrive. Hareter Babatunde Oralusi is one such person who began his career at an early age and with his diligent efforts became a recognized name. Here is a glimpse of his journey!
Having his roots in Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria, Hareter Babatunde Oralusi has become a visionary entrepreneur, a philanthropist, and a next-generation political leader. He was born on 28th September 1971 to the great Oralusi family.
He earned his education from the Seventh-day Adventist Primary School, Ibadan, Aperin Commercial School, and Ibadan Grammar School. When he was of 15 years of age, he came up with a small scale business. The organization was involved in supplying home-made body cream.
Sooner, his new venture got popularity, and it grew to large scale supply for major supermarkets located in Ibadan, Nigeria. He made use of some of his business proceeds and floated a junior football club “The Future.” Here, he played the role of the goalkeeper and a coach from the year 1987 to 1990. The club featured in several junior football competitions and earned several medals in Oyo State.
In addition to it, Oralusi set up Tuloh International Limited, a part-time business in automobile and computer sales. He has also begun a travel business in Central London named Tuloh Travels & Tour. This firm sooner grew and started offering flight and luxury chauffeuring services.
In the year 2005, a British Law Firm approached Oralusi for brokering the purchase of an oil well. This connection helped him to establish Groversnor Petroleum, a company offering petroleum importation, distribution, storage, retailing, and trading company in Nigeria.
In the year 2009, he established the Nigerian Capital Development Fund after having extensive studies to extend support to the Nigerian government for sustainable development objectives. He received the support of the former Nigerian President for the NDCF.
In the year 2014, he founded Social Enterprise Academy in Nigeria along with Social Enterprise International of the United Kingdom. His focus was to offer specialized education in entrepreneurship, social enterprise, and innovation.
Oralusi has also founded ForeMedia Group PLC, a public trading company in the United Kingdom. This firm holds a specialisation in Afrocentric new media and entertainment services and products. In the year 2019, he expanded his social entrepreneurship by co-founding the London School of Social Enterprise and Sustainable Economics.
Currently, Hareter Babatunde Oralusi is applying his leadership skills and vision in Social Enterprise International, UK. He is also the chairman, board of directors in LifeCome Group Limited in the United Kingdom.
